The Diff

·Jonathan P. De Collibus

In engineering, we use the term diff, to refer to the changes that you made from where the file was to where it is now.

Where the code base was to where it is now.

What difference did you make?

If you feel like you're not making progress, and that annoys pisses you off, good.

Fear the day where you don't have that righteous anger.

Meaning comes from making a difference between where you were yesterday morning and where you are now (I presume it's 1am for you as it is for me).

You can't make meaningful progress if you don't do the work.

You can't do the work if you don't know what you need to do.

And you don't know what to do if you don't know what you want.

Focus on what you want.

Get clear on it.

And take it by the fucking horns.

This doesn't mean act from force.

This means to act from power.

Life is not going to happen to you.

You need to happen in life.

Get clear.

Get aligned.

Go.
